Equity City partnered with CFC to host “Celebrating Ramadan in the Workplace”, an evening dedicated to connection, learning, and community.
The event, featured a conversation with Nasimara Begum and Allia Khan, as well as insights from Hussein Valimahomed. They shared their lived experiences navigating career success, faith, and identity. Their stories challenged stereotypes, highlighted the importance of allyship, and offered meaningful reflections on thriving during Ramadan.
The evening concluded with a warm community iftar, where attendees came together to share a meal, network, and strengthen understanding across cultures.
