Equity City hosted its inaugural Sports Day 2024, sponsored by Guidewire, bringing the community together for a day filled with excitement and philanthropy. Supporting Praxis Charity, which aids individuals affected by the Windrush scandal, the event featured a variety of fun activities and competitive games.
The day kicked off with classic sports day events like the egg and spoon race, the blindfold challenge, and fiercely contested relays. There were exciting inflatables like beach volleyball, a bootcamp assault course and the the last man standing all whilst relishing delicious Caribbean food.
The evening was wrapped up at a local bar where attendees enjoyed a lively evening watching the England vs. Denmark match, networking. This event exemplified the power of community and collaboration in achieving great things.
